There was an interesting article in the ajc today about a new trend of freelance artists finding affordable health insurance through unions. Here's the link to the Freelancer Union if you want to find out more, it seems like a really good plan to me. Union membership is free, you just pay for the health insurance if you want it. There's also a networking thing where you can post a profile and a description of services you provide.
